Wessex Demolition & Salvage Ltd was formed in 1994, and has been steadily growing in both stature and knowledge. Over the past 20 years we have provided
our services throughout the UK, becoming one of the south coast's leading demolition experts with a
reputation of providing safe, efficient and cost effective demolition solutions to our clients.
We undertake contracts for developers, major house builders, construction companies, local authorities and members of the public, offering the same high level of service regardless of a projects size.
Our project portfolio includes the demolition of houses, city centre shops, office blocks, schools, hospitals, large factories, petrol stations & forecourts as well as high rise structures and complex structures.
Other works include interior strip outs for refurbishment, removal of non-licensable asbestos, ground clearance, crushing services and emergency demolition.
Our management team oversee all projects and ensure that our work is carried out to the highest standards in both safety and efficiency. All site operatives we employ are entered into a robust training programme to ensure their continual professional development, most of our training being done through the National Demolition Training Group (NTDG).
As part of the service we offer, we can notify the local council to obtain a section 80/81 counter notice, which is a legal requirement prior to demolition of a building. We can act as principle contractor, arranging for the termination of gas & electricity etc. We also arrange for asbestos surveys to be carried out, together with the removal of asbestos based materials which are encompassed within the current licensing regulations and as such require a licensed contractor to remove them.
